Project & Task Management

dTask is a Project and Task Management System for Lotus Notes. It has been designed for work groups; supporting the management of multiple Projects, Project Tasks and the work groups other “Operating” Tasks. The likes of Engineering, Information Technology and Research work groups will find dTask an invaluable tool for coordinating group activities and outcomes. dTask exploits the coordination and collaboration capabilities of the Domino Notes platform; the same capabilities that are fundamental to effective and efficient management of projects and tasks in a work group.

dTask features and offerings include:

Plan Projects:- detail tasks, outcomes and responsibilities; allocate resources (people) and budgets both at project and task level.
Manage Projects:- coordinate project activity via status and issue reports, track resource usage and expenditure; and register key project and task documents.
Operating Tasks:- or tasks independent of projects can also be managed through dTask. As with projects dTask assists in the planning and management of Operating Tasks:- resources, budgets, expenditure, reports and documents.
Alerts (Emails):- project and task coordination is underpinned by a range of event initiated email alerts/advice:- implementation, report lodgment, completion.
History Log:- dTask captures all key project and task events and outcomes.
Views and Reports:- the dTask views support individual project and task planning; and, the management of work group activity across all projects and tasks, from project and task progress, through to resource and budget usage. The presentation of dTask data can be further enhanced with the use of tools such as Crystal Reports. The data model is a simple one!
Navigation and Search:- specific project and task data can be easily located, using available views and full text search functions.
