Risk Management

dRisk is an effective, easy to use and affordable software solution for managing risk across an organisation. Developed in Lotus Notes, dRisk is available in both multi and single user releases. dRisk takes a process driven approach to Risk Management; closely aligned to AS/NZS 4360. dRisk supports individuals in managing risks for which they are responsible; and, through its views, its reports, and alerts dRisk assists Management and Risk Managers in understanding and consequently managing risk across the organisation.

dRisk supports those responsible for individual risks through the risk management life cycle:
  1. Identifcation of Risk. Detail the risk; assign ownership (individual & organisational unit); and, categorise the risk
  2. Analysis of Risk. Determine the level of risk based on the developed risk assessment schema for the organisation.
  3. Evaluation of Risk. Identify risk controls; establish the effectiveness of controls; and derive a level of residual risk based on the organisations risk assessment schema.
  4. Plan for the Risk. Determine the acceptability of a risk; develop treatments/actions; and, set a reporting regime for the monitoring of the risk.
  5. Monitor the Risk. Based on the planned reporting regime, report the status of the risk and its associated treatments/actions and controls.

Simple Navigation. The interface will be a familiar one in those organisations that use Lotus Domino/Notes. There are a range of user and administrative views and the database can be full text indexed to support both simple and complex searches.

Risk Registers and Action Plans. The views available in dRisk include Risk Registers and Action Plans:- these are provided for both individuals and the organisation.

Reporting and Exporting. The dRisk data structures are simple and the application can be easily complemented with third party data reporting tools. There are a range of Crystal Reports available with the application.

Alerts and Validation. dRisk can be configured to enforce validation of selected steps in the risk management process; and, to issue email alerts to risk owners and risk managers based on the status and/or (risk) levels associated with individual risks.

Highly Configurable. From the structure of the risk assessment schema through to the content of email alerts and messages, the configuration options in dRisk are numerous and simple to administer.
