Human Resource Management

dHR is a Lotus Notes based Human Resource Management System developed for use in the small medium enterprise. dHR comprises 2 modules; dHR Personnel and dHR Recruitment. The modules can be used independently. dHR complements those finite HR management resources of the small medium enterprise; its easy of use, enabling a high quality HR data set to be maintained in a time efficient manner. dHR offers most of the functions found in those so called “top shelf” HR solutions but at a significantly lower cost; it is excellent value!

dHR Personnel can be used by the HR Team to build a comprehensive description of the organisation; with facility to detail positions, organisation structure, people, training programmes, incidents (OH&S), personnel related events (history) and documents.

dHR Personnel features and offerings include:

  • develop and maintain Position Profiles.
  • develop and maintain an organisation structure; interface with Microsoft Visio for Organisation Chart graphics production.
  • maintain an employee data set that includes personal information, skills, qualifications, training, medical, incident (OH&S), claim, employment history and basic payroll / leave / packaging / superannuation detail.
  • support for the management of the organisation's training programmes; addressing all aspects of the training lifecycle:- from proposal to completion.
  • register and/or store employee related documents / file notes:- document images can be scanned and registered in the application.
  • HR data views (reports); data can be easily located via native Lotus Notes search facilities; views in dHR can be further complemented through the use of reporting tools such as Crystal reports.
  • simple model for securing access to HR records.
  • email alerts on key HR events such as contract expiries, service anniversaries and salary reviews.

dHR Recruitment is a recruitment management system. dHR Recruitment addresses all aspects of the recruitment campaign; providing process support while serving as a repository for all recruitment related data:- vacancies, advertisements, applicants, CV’s/resumes, interviews, reference checks and notifications (applicant correspondence). dHR Recruitment will introduce efficiencies; most notable:- (1) automated notification (letter) production and (2) a searchable database of CV’s/resumes with the possibility that the organisation may already be holding the CV of the perfect applicant.

dHR Recruitment features and offerings include:

  • Detail vacancies (position description, employment conditions, history) and the processes (key dates, key people) associated with appointing to a vacancy.
  • Advertising Management:- record details of recruitment advertisements.
  • Applicant Management:- applicants can be managed collectively and individually; registered, short-listed (ranked), interviewed, notified…..
  • CV’s (Resumes):- supplied in an electronic format CV’s can be attached to applicant records; supplied as a physical document, dHR Recruitment has facility to scan and attach the CV.
  • Staff and unsolicited CV’s:- can be registered independent of a vacancy.
  • Automatic Letter (Notification) production:- is a key feature of dHR Recruitment. Notifications can be produced individually or on mass. An indefinite number of Notification types can be setup in dHR Recruitment. A Microsoft Word template will be a component to each notification type; providing a layout and format to the notification. Setting up notifications is simple! All applicant notifications produced in dHR Recruitment will be registered against the relevant applicant.
  • Mailing Label(‘s) and Envelopes:- production associated with notifications is automated.
  • Reporting:- dHR Recruitment provides a range of views, supporting operational and management information requirements.
  • Full Text Searches:- the entire content of dHR Recruitment including any attachments ( CV’s, notifications) can be searched and queried.
  • Off Line Access:- HR staff can work on dHR Recruitment away from the Office. The dHR Recruitment database can be replicated to the local (laptop) PC, allowing the operator to then work disconnected from the network.
  • Integration with dHR Personnel:- position (vacancy) and people (applicant) records can be transferred between the dHR’s modules.
  • Reporting and specifically management reporting can be easily enhanced through the use of tools such as Crystal Reports. dHR Recruitment data structures are simple!
